Drip tray for air-to-water heat pump with submerged heating cable

Protect your air-to-water heat pump with our drip tray, specially designed to provide reliable frost protection. With a submerged heating cable and a built-in thermostat that activates automatically at +3°C, you don't have to worry about ice formation and freeze damage.

This drip tray comes complete with 5 metres of heating cable and a pre-assembled plug, making installation easy and safe. The 32 mm pipe connection sleeve and strain relief provide extra stability and safety.

Installation of Drip Tray for Air to Water Heat Pump

  1. Attach both brackets to the drip tray and position them so that they rest stably on the ground stand or wall bracket.
  2. Tighten the nuts firmly so that the bowl sits tightly against the heat pump and is securely in place.
  3. Thread the white heating cable through the opening in the bowl and place approximately 1.5 meters of the cable in the groove in the drip tray. Then feed the cable down to the last opening.
  4. Connect a 32 mm plastic pipe to the outlet opening, place the heating cable inside the pipe and then run it to the downpipe with a slope of at least 2 cm per meter to ensure effective water drainage.
  5. The plug supplied can be used to connect directly to a socket. If necessary, a qualified electrician can cut the plug and connect the heating cable directly to the heat pump's electrical system.

This installation ensures optimal function and protection for your air-to-water heat pump.
